Subjects Covered: Career Exploration, Assessments, Cover Letters Mistakes, Mistakes Moms, Resumes, Job Link Career Centers, LinkedIn and Interviewing. 

This class is FREE to the unemployed and underemployed through Wake Tech.  To register click here although registration is not required.    Many times it is one area in your job search strategy that prevents you from getting that job.  Join our class and let's figure out what it is.   

  Smart Moms has held 6 opportunity expos during 2010 and 2011.  Our expos have partnered with Miller Motte College (Cary) and showcased employers. education opportunties and legitimate home based businesses for our moms, dads and anyone seeking to Explore Opportunities.  These opportunities were showcased in an informal setting.

Moms Supporting Moms  is a peer-led support group for mothers dealing with postpartum mood disorders. With weekly meetings at two locations and a warm line staffed by trained volunteers, Moms Supporting Moms works directly with mothers – and their families – who need help handling postpartum mood disorders.  

Postpartum Education and Support is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the emotional wellness of mothers. We offer support for mothers and their families; provide resources for health care providers; and heighten public awareness of perinatal mood disorders.

The Women’s Business Center, established in 2000, is a partnership program between the North Carolina Institute of Minority Economic Development (NCIMED) and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).  It's mission is to increase the number and the success rate of women-owned businesses.
